On the 19th.Dec Sunday evening NTGH made a special visitation to Canaan Home. This is a home caring for the elderly. A home managed by another Christian Church. We sang some carols and prepared some food for the inmates. We extend some practical fellowship to the Indonesian workers as well as to the fulltime staff in the home.
From there we proceeded to Kulim to visit the Jireh Home. It is another home managed by a Christian couple. We gave them dinner and sang them some songs. We even extended to them a practical fellowship in support for their financial need.
In both the homes, we have pastor Kiwi giving a short message to comfort and to encouarge them to put their trust in the Lord.
On 22nd Dec wednesday evening we visited two hospitals to sing carols and some Indonesian songs to the inmates. Fruits were given away to the inmates, and flowers were given to the nurses on duty. As usual, we ended up having our dinner and fellowship at our elder Fong's house.
Praise God for the fine weather given to us in all these activities.

2010 Christmas at NTGH

**Nepali Christmas Service at NTGH**
2010 Christmas at NTGH was a thrilling event. First the English Assembly had its dinner in a restaurant nearby. We had MAP President Mr.Ooi Chin Aik as our speaker that evening. We had about a hundred people at the dinner.
The Nepali had their celebration on 19th.Dec Sunday morning till afternoon 1.00pm. They had a big turn up as well. The English Assembly had to move upstairs to the Nepali Worship Hall, to give way for the Nepali to use the main hall down stairs.
In so happened that the Vietnamese was also having their celebration on the 19th.Dec. However, they had it from 4.00pm to 7.00pm. People came by two bus loads and a few van loads of them. Theirs was the biggest crowd this Christmas.
Praise God for the fine weather granted to our prayer request.

Honor God with our wealth

Proverbs 3:9 reminded us to " Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of your crops, then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine."
Of late God is opening an opportunity for us to establish a more lasting mission work in Nepal. A building is available for rental right in the capital city of Nepal---Kathmandu. It is suitable to serve as a quarters for our missionary worker and family, it can also serve as a Training Centre, a Mission House, and also a church hall. All in all we need a budget of RM1000 per month.
It is very exciting to think of it, and to visualise how God is working in Nepal. This church hall will serve the congregations of a number of house churches, and also a mark of a lasting mission venture from Malaysian Brethren Chruches. A gateway into Nepal for future Malaysian Bible teachers and missionaries.
God has blessed Malaysian churches in many ways. Both churches and individuals are capable of contributing towards the "Project kathmandu Nepal" and also building up a Nepal Mission Fund to finance future visits and undertakings in Nepal.
Each a pledge and giving of RM10/= per month or contributing a meal ( in cash of about RM50) per month to the fund, will see the extension of mission venture in Nepal. Let us pool together and making use of the wealth God has blessed us with, to build up God's church in Nepal.
Do not use up God's portion. Return God's protion for God's project. If you share my vision, do something about it. You never know down the years, what that contribution is going to do great works in Nepal.

What Is Needed in NTGH
What can all Ex-NTGH folks and NTGH supporters do for NTGH at this point of time?
Pray---- we need a fresh vision and perception as to what God wants NTGH to do in the years ahead.
Pray---- NTGH hopes to start off some new ministry---- among the youths. Ask God for direction and staff.
Finance: NTGH needs contributions from ex-NTGH folks and supporters to pay off our Bank loan for our building. We are paying RM3100.00 per month for bank loan.
Finance : we need fund to finance our Vietnamese and Nepali ministry. Each month we spent over a thousand on bus transport for these migrant workers to come to church services.
Finance: we need contributions towards our mission fund, supporting workers in Nepal, in Campus ministry with MCCC, fellowship support with workers in Vietnam as well as in China.
Each a hundred a month to NTGH will make a great difference.
May God raise up supporters for NTGH

Reflection 12/9/2010
This morning the thought was on "Living Faith".
James 2:19 says," You believe that there is one God, Good! Even the demons believe that--- and shudder." The demons are enemies of God and God's people. Though they believe there is one God, yet they are not saved.
Roman 1:21 says, "Though they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him." People knew God exits and yet would not come to him. They are lost in eternity.
I Cor 6:9 clearly spelled out that "the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God." It goes even to point out what he meant to be termed "wicked".And we read,"homosexual" was listed there. Thus people who dwell in sins and immorality can never have a part in the kingdom of God.
James firmly pointed out:James 2:17"faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." It is useless (ineffective) cf 2:20 James illustrated the meaning of a living faith: faith and action working together.cf 2:22
John said in 1Jn 5:18 "anyone born of God does not continue to sin."
Geniune faith in Christ brought about repentence and hatred of sin. Geniune faith in Christ acknowldges that Christ has died for our sin and we will not continue to sin. Instead, we will live in obedience of God's teaching. We will work hard to live in His will. Our life will bear fruit to glorify His holy name.
Roman 10:9-10 is trying to tell us that faith in Christ means fully acknowledge the redemptive work of the cross, and believing in the deity of Christ, and is convicted that He is risen from the dead. Such faith is confessed with the visible manifestation of obedience in water baptism and life transformation by the Holy Spirt. Further more, one is bold to testify for Christ, addressing Christ Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
If we called ourselves the follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, we should obey God and live out the new life given to us.

Reflection 5/9/2010
This morning the main thought was taken from Jeremiah 17: 9-10
* The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure.
Meditation: very often we do not mean what we say, and we do not really mean what we do. We can be just putting on a show! Trying to please someone, may be. We can even self deceived. We can be pretending to be what we are not.
Therefore, we need to check our hearts and our intent. Christians must learn to live in sincerity and truthfulness.
* I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind.
Wow! We may be a great pretender, but we cannot escape the all searching eye of God.
We must learn to live close to God and live right with man.
* Search me O God and know my heart, test me and know my anxious thoughts.
In order to live right and be found pleasing in the sight of God, we need to humbly seeking the Lord to search our hearts and to test our action. We want to be glorifying God in everything we do.
Be teachable, and be responsive to God all time.Amen.
